before i started doing yoga, i thought it was a crock of shit. i didn’t understand how bending yourself into a pretzel could possibly be a good workout. and then i started doing yoga, and i couldn’t get enough. i am partial to hot/bikram yoga because i enjoy turning into a pile of mush, but regular yoga is great too. i have yet to find a studio i really love in manhattan (suggestions are always welcome!) but in ct my go to is buddhi mat yoga in ridgefield, ct. they have a great, serene space and whenever i am at my parents house i find myself dragging my tired body to the 8am class because i know i will get a fantastic workout. if you are ever around ridgefield you should definitely try them out!
